HELP! What hat??

I just bought a JTE Junior hat today, tried it on in the shop without lookin in the mirror (stupid) and got it home...it looks ridiculous! I thought they were meant to be low profile, its looks like its just perched on the top of my head and makes my tiny head look ENORMOUS.

Does anyone else have this problem with this make and model of hat? And if so can anyone recommend a hat that will fit a small head (about 6 7/8) but still be low profile and not look ridiculous?

Yep i have a Champion Ventair too. Found it not as extortionate cost wise as some others and it's very comfy and you don't look quite so much a tool as with some of the other hats. They are all of this sort of design now though so the 'big head, small face' look is difficult to avoid. Think it's all to do with health & safety regs - what's all that about, we want to look ood! hee hee

I had the same problem! Bought a JTE and it was perched on top of my head and I looked soooooo stupid. So now I have a Vent Air riding hat- love it, so comfy and I actually look OK in it! Well my head doesn't look enormous

in my humble opinion - all hats make you look stupid !!!!! but unfortuntely rather safe than sorry !!!!! Paint it blue and it will comoflague with the sky !!!
 
Sorry to go against the tide here, but I found when trying on the ventair it was far too narrow at the front and ended up pinching my temples. Went for a charles owen showjumper xp in the end and absolutely love it

Ventair really didn't fit me - I have the Charles Owen Ventura thing with the holes in it - doesn't keep me any cooler though.

Mostly wear Beagler unless I'm hacking
