Help! What is happening here? (Videos attached)

This is Ted, my 5.5 year old JRT. Last night, this started happening with his lips/jaw. I thought it might be a reaction to a sting and that it would die down overnight - it's still happening this morning. He is eating and drinking fine, and his poop last night was normal, Never done this before. Does anyone have any idea what's happening?

Bring the video-send to the email if it's drop off at your practice atm.

Hopefully it's something with the teeth but this could be neurological issue and there's a less then fun list of things to be ruled out. Exam is step one.

+1 to vet as soon as you can. Mine started doing this and it turned out to be a loose back tooth that was really uncomfortable, vet removed it and she was fine. There were no other signs of tooth problems and the tooth and gums looked fine so we didn't pick up on it.

I wouldn’t panic but yes I think if you can’t see anything the vet would be the best person to work it out.

Hopefully he has just got something stuck between his teeth, which was my first thought but I would expect the vet to want to examine him. Good luck!

Have you had a look in his mouth? My first thought was it looked like he has a stick or even a piece of food or a biscuit stuck between his teeth.

My first thought was something stuck in the roof of his mouth or in his teeth. Have you checked?

Check roof of mouth. They can get bits of stuck etc jammed across.

One of mine once ran to me in a panic and on inspection he had a bit of stick stuck across the roof of his mouth. Once removed he was fine.
