I'm having a huge struggle to buy small size adult breeches this year. I used to rely on Laurie Garelli size 24's but this year they changed their sizing models and nothing fits. I can't fit kids breeches, and am feeling like a freak. There must be other adults who are a size 24 (uk size 6) who are finding breeches crime somewhere?!

Thanks in advance for any help!

I know Tottie and Premier Equine do 24" breeches, I have both of those brands in 26" and love them :) Premier equine ones are more expensive but they often have them on sale (I have 3 pairs and none of them were bought at full price ;)) There may be others around but I'm not sure...

I buy Toggi children's jodhpurs rather than breeches and wear them with long boots/half chaps. Where do they not fit you? If its just the length then get jodhpurs, fold the cuff down and wear with long boots. Otherwise try a childs 26 which may give you a bit more knee room. Toggis fit me - but other brands like Shires may have a more suitable cut for your shape. They ain't fancy but they are good value and comfortable. I'd try a few on to see.

I found Derby House own brand came up quite small... I had a pair that I had to lie down to do up. Then I ate too many pies and they don't do up at all. Took them to second hand shop to be sold... they are still there nearly a year later as they are so small! (I'm a size 8 and breeches were I think a 24inch waist - I had had others that were fine but they must have changed the cut)

Not breeches but I have shires wessex jodhpurs in a 24", im usually a size 6 and they're a little baggy at the bottom but can't tell with boots on. Also have decathlon jodhpurs in kids age 12 which must come up big, they do breeches too so might be worth looking at decathlon?
