I am posting on behalf of a friend who has been well and truly stuffed by the people who own her yard. the yard has been for sale and the liveries were told they had minmum of 6 months after completion before they had to move......they were given 3 weeks notice yesterday!!

So looking for somewhere local to Wincanton/Bruton/Castle Cary areas. e the problem - everywhere local is individual turnout and the horse goes loopy. She would be fine with youngsters/oldies anythin g really!! A stable and school would be nice but at this moment in time grass livery with company is the order of the day!!!

Can anyone help? Anything considered - West wilts North dorset easier commute than other way into somerset!! thank you in advance!!

Thank you so much for replying!! I think taunton is just over an hour from her which is a bit far but will pm you if push comes to shove!

I think kingfisher is near the top of the list - only problem is its individual turnout and full livery when really she just wants grass! Somerton park is about 1/2 an hour - do you think it may be a possibility?!

Thank you again!!

Not sure if these are any good or if they have any spaces?

Tim & Debbie Allard at Whistley Farm, Milton-on-Stour, on the Dorset/Wiltshire border.

A friend has recently moved her horse from here (reason being she moved house, not because she wasn't really happy there). It's DIY with small group or individual turn out I believe.

Or Pippin Equestrian, Presthayes Farm, Eccliffe, Gillingham. I don't know anything about this one, just came across it whilst looking for the details of the first one.

Pretty sure it's only 30 mins, you could try popping over to Somerton Court to see Clare who runs the place. We've got a nice herd of grass liveries and we have a school, instruction on site, lots of people hacking out, going to show etc.

Thanks again everyone! yes I think chard is a little too far unfortunately.

I think she plans to go over to somerton this weekedn to have a look and see. Fingers crossed something suits!

If she's going over then saturday would be the best as the YO will be there teaching most of the morning
