Help with a grief stricken friend

Hi All

A new user here, I just wanted some advice. Someone I've become friendly with had to have her pony put to sleep after a cronic fight with mutliple illnesses, and understandably she is devastated, he ment the world to her, and to everyone around him.

I just wondered, having been through it myself is there was anything I could do to help...

I would try and get her back on a horse if she hasn't already, might not want to to start with but would thank you for it in the long run!

I think she's still having lessons as her other one is out of work at the moment, I don't think she'll ever leave horses behind, it's her life, as it is for many of us

Leave her to grieve. I lost one of mine on Thursday and it's so much easier to deal with now everyone has stopped mentioning him.

Aww Super_Kat I'm sorry..

Sounds like it's what she needs as well... just hope she knows I'm there when she needs me/is ready

Super Kat is right. I was a lot happier been able to have a cry in his stable on my own. But a quiet hug around the shoulders helped as well.
