Tippy went to the vet today with a suspected broken toe, and £300 later (xrays and sedation) there isn't anything broken but they think she might have either twisted her nail or rammed something down the nail bed, although there was no blood at all. So now she's back with Metacam and anti-biotics (clavaseptin) to start tomorrow.
Just wanted to see if anyone has any advice on administering metacam (in liquid form) and anti-b pills? She's impossible to worm, luckily now on the edible wormers (although still a challenge). If you put it powdered in her food, or stuffed in a sausage she'll pick it out - impossible to outwit her..! And trying to force it down her neck is also impossible as even if you get it down she brings it up, bile and all.
If anyone can recommend a method that would be great, otherwise I foresee a challenging 6 days ahead...!
Thanks
