I'm sure this is probably a silly question - but I'm tying myself in knots trying to make sense of the BE website!

I want to compete at a BE 80 in October and am confused about which passes I need to buy - on the website it says I need a training pass, not a day pass, but then says I need a day pass before I can buy a training pass !!

I am totally confused - any advice ?

You have to buy a day pass and then buy a training pass to allow you to compete in a BE80(T) - so both. It's really confusing but presumably the same applies for BE80?

Thank you so much! Do you know if I need to buy a day pass for both myself and my horse- or does the training pass effectively cover that ?

If you are not already a full member, you need to sign up with a day pass membership, which is £10 for the year. You can then buy as many training passes (for BE80) as you like in a season, they are £10 each and cover horse and rider. Then if you want to move up to BE90 you can buy a day pass, but you can only buy 4 day passes in a season, day passes are £16 each and horse and rider need one each (if you buy them at the same time you will only pay £25)
