i have a few questions that i would need to clear up before i decide to buy a horse.

can i keep it in my garden and feed him with grass cuttings?

how many blankets will he need to keep him warm? or can i just use bed spreads?

if he is naughty while im walking him what is the best way to control him? is smacking the best option or is it better to shout?

how do i know what size head thingys he will need for when he is out in the garden?

and how will i know what size saddle to get him?

can i cut his toe nails my self and make them look pretty with nail polish?

if he breaks out of the shed where should i put him? would the garage be ok?

if i get bored of him where should i take him could i just let him go onto a bit of grass somewhere? or just move house and leave him?

any help greatly appreciated thanks x

Grass cutting are good! Trouble is he might eat the grass before you can cut it, maybe neighbours will help

An old duvet will be fine. Secure the front with a nappy pin and put a couple of bungees round his middle

Do Both!! Smack him upside the chops and yell your head off.

Tough one.Choose by colour,not size.

Get one off ebay, they always fit.

Yup

Not really. He might scratch the car

if i get bored of him where should i take him could i just let him go onto a bit of grass somewhere? or just move house and leave him?

Stick him in someone elses garden. He will be fine.

can i keep it in my garden and feed him with grass cuttings? Yes definatly, and if he rolls around or kicks his stomach after, that means he really likes it

how many blankets will he need to keep him warm? or can i just use bed spreads? Bed spreads are fine, just make sure you get matching colours to your headcollar and leadrope or your horse won't like you

if he is naughty while im walking him what is the best way to control him? is smacking the best option or is it better to shout? You have to smack and shout, and then do parelli to get them to like you again. If you speak to Papfrita on here she can get you a good deal on a banana stick :D

how do i know what size head thingys he will need for when he is out in the garden? Just get the smallest one and make him squeeze into it, if it doesn't fit put him on a diet as he is obviously too fat

and how will i know what size saddle to get him? Same with the head thingy, get the smallest one and if it doesn't fit he is just too fat

can i cut his toe nails my self and make them look pretty with nail polish? Of course you can! If you don't trim them yourself then your not a very responsible horse owner! The more toxic teh nail varnish the better, make sur eits sparkly though and matches the bed sheets

if he breaks out of the shed where should i put him? would the garage be ok? I would put him in the car, if you put the seats down you could easily fit a horse in there. If you lock it and put seat belts on aswell he won't be able to get out

if i get bored of him where should i take him could i just let him go onto a bit of grass somewhere? or just move house and leave him? Just turn him out in the local park, the dogs love a new friend to play with.
