Hi all, I'm a horse lovers boyfriend! and for some silly reason i decided i'd buy my girlfriend some clippers for christmas. She has an Anglo-arab and a welsh D. I need to buy some cordless clippers for her, that can cope with doing a body clip on both of her boys, the main issue i believe will be on the welsh. I think she said she'd be doing a Chaser clip??
Any help will be fully appreciated! I have no idea which will be the best for me to buy!
Thanks alot!, Dan.:)

Second the Lister Liberty. They cope brilliantly doing a full clip on our very hairy cob. Have just bought some with a power pack and the fine blades for £299.

Thank you all very much! I had seen these, I was hesitant to pay the extra money, I didn't know if I would just be paying for a name! And these would be fine for a body clip?
I gues il be buying these then! I knew I was going to be parting with a healthy amount of money! But at least these are something she can keep for a while to come :) thank you all so much for your help :)

I got the liveryman harmony clippers for my welsh d they are small and light weight and very quiet. If the welshie has a really thick coat though they may not be the best, however they coped fine with mine! Theyvare quite cheap too..., think mine were about £180 :)

Oh a also clipped a very very hairy cob with them and they were fine.... Only thing they wpuldnt do was the feathers and my friends lister libertys struggled with the feathers too!

I had seen these too, a bonus on these is that they are quiet.
Her welsh d is 3 years old, she has broken him in herself, and done very well with him!
But he is quite cheeky, and nervous of new things.. He hasn't yet Been clipped. Can anyone tell me how noisy or quiet the liberty lister ones are?

The libertys are a larger clipper arnd are noisier but are a more substantial clipper..... I suposse it depends how much use they are going to have? My welsh d mare is not the best to clip but even managed to do her head with them..... I love them!

I wouldn't reccomend the liveryman Harmony, I have a pair and I also have a Welsh D and they wouldn't clip through his coat had to try each bit about 3 times then they left the most awful tram lines. Wanted to throw them across the stable!

I now have the liveryman red rocket and love them they are also very quiet, but they are corded so not sure if they would be of any use to you?
