Just lately my clippers have started playing up...at the best time of the year of course!
I've cleaned the blades really well, tried 3 sets of clean/sharp blades and all the same results.
It's like the hair is getting stuck in the blades when trying to clip, and tugging at the hair...but if you only try a small amount of hair at a time it cuts. But they would clip a coat that had been done not too long ago, but refused an un-clipped coat!
An ideas anyone?? It would be very much appriciated as they are only a year old!
thanks guys

i had this problem when i sent blades off to be sharpened, sent them back explaining they had stopped working and when they came back they were fine!!

If your blades were all sharpened at the same time, it's the blades. I had a set the same and took them back and complained and then they were fine.

I think I'm having the same issue, it feels like someone has poured superglue into the coat / blades.

It's worse when doing the fluffy coat, ie around the tummy & neck and head.

Thought it was the battery at first, but still did it the next day. I've just sent both blades off to be sharpened so hopefully that will solve it.
