Trying to get my livery prices sorted and wanted to get an idea of what charges are 'average' for a DIY livery when requesting 'services'.

I am going for quality - all horses will be done to very high standard - this is not a 'chuck in - chuck out' type service.

Could you let me know what you pay/ would expect to pay for the following:

A) Morning stables - feed/change rugs/pick out feet/turnout

B) Muck out

C) Lunchtime when in - skip out/top up hay & water

D) Bring in/pick out feet/wash legs/brush off mud/change rugs

E) Evening stables - Hay/feed/water/skip out/add rug - basically do whatever needs doing to put horse to bed.

F) Full livery for the day

Any help appreciated :-))

I would expect to pay around...

A) Morning stables - feed/change rugs/pick out feet/turnout
£3/4 - unless the horse is the only one being fed I wouldn't expect to pay extra for this service.

B) Muck out
£5

C) Lunchtime when in - skip out/top up hay & water
£2/3

D) Bring in/pick out feet/wash legs/brush off mud/change rugs
£3/4

E) Evening stables - Hay/feed/water/skip out/add rug - basically do whatever needs doing to put horse to bed.
£2/3

F) Full livery for the day
£15

I will be having a full livery service 3 days a week when I take up my new job, I will still visit each evening to exercise the horse but need to know that there are some days that I can stay late if I need to. I will be paying £10 per day but this is mates rates and she is deep littered in the week so bed is only skipped and 'remade'.
