Help with FEI qualification requirements!

I have tried and failed to get confirmation on the qualification requirements of FEI events. Could someone please explain in layman's terms?? For an uncatergorised rider I think to do CIC/CCI* and CIC/CCI**.

For CIC* you need to have done 2 x Novices
For CCI* there are several options - 4 x Novice PLUS 1 Intermediate;
OR
4 x Novice PLUS 1 x CIC1*;
OR
6 x Novice

For each you need to be clear XC and have no more than 4 fences down in the SJ

It's in the new handbook that got sent out in the post to british eventing members
