^ A few of the geldings that I've known over the years, I haven't mentioned the ones with silly names though! ;)

Domino is a good one.. or minstrel? Just trying to think of things that are black & white..

One name I do like for cobs is Seamus..don't know why..lol.

Completely normal here.

I'm useless at names too, he'd just be called 'The Paint Colt' if he was in my paddocks until something came to mind. This from a person with a barn kitten that has been named Spider Monkey Mohawk (by Boarders, not me) and we have another called Lanky simply because he has long legs :o

What about the usual Indian type names? Apache, Mohawk, Cheyenne, Cree, Shawnee, Dakota etc, Cayoosh (a derivative of caballo which of course means horse, in Lilloet and Chilcotin it refers to a type of Indian Mountain Pony)

Whole long list of them here:

It will be interesting to see how he grows :)

Enjoy

He looks like a Gordon or a Bert to me. I often take entries for my riding club and I'm desperate to have a Gordon entered into a class. I love old people names for animals. My next animal better look out :p

For some strange reason I'm thinking Billy, like Billy The Kid, he does look a bit goaty :D (don't mean that in a nasty way btw) he'll no doubt mature into a big chunky lovely lad, then I'd want to call him Bill.

Good Luck with him. :)
