Help with pony

Hi I have a cob that I bought 5 years ago I have the lady on my FB that has stated I bought him as proof that I own him but my daughter got him passported in her name 2 years ago I have paid for all vet bill farrier feed bedding in 5 years well I want to sell him but she says I can't as he belongs to her as she has passport but hasn't been any where near the pony for 3 months or bought anything for he's needs and hasn't paid rent i rent my own yard so I pay the rent including in ,with mine I also have had paid for hes feet to be done last week my question is can I legally sell him as she has put him up for loan but I want to sell as I have too many so want to downsize as I have a few older ponies that have problems and will end up being pts if I sell them so I want to give them a good end of life with me please help me

Yes you can sell him. The passport is not proof of ownership. You are the owner if you bought him and have proof of this.

The passport means nothing, but can she claim he was a gift? That you gave him to her as a present?

It sounds t me as if you need help with the relationship with your daughter, rather than help with the pony. Have you asked your daughter to contribute to the pony's costs if she doesn't want him sold? Why is the passport in daughter's name? Did you gift him to her?
