Not sure how many of you saw, but I fell off Wings and he trod on my back, just to the right of my spine. I went to A&E and the time, but many people told me to go back. So, I went to a walk in centre, they told me nothing could be done, just to put arnica on and take ibuprofen and paracetemol when I see fit. They couldn't test my kidneys due to woman issues (
) but they thought I'd be in pain when weeing/wouldn't be able to wee if they were damaged.
They can't do anything for the swelling, and they gave the impression it will take a long time to heal, as there is a lot of yellow bruises from bruising at the time, but there is still a lot of purple indicating fresh blood. So yeah, they won't do anything to help with the swelling.
As for the shooting pains, that is because the swelling is trapping the nerves in my leg, so sometimes when I move my leg in certain ways, the nerves aren't acting like they should so I get very painful shooting pains
Now for my question about posture (unrelated to my accident). I have one shoulder, my left, that sits further forwards than the other and is generally weird, and I also have a slight S shape in my spine, but not enough to need an operation or anything. The physio came out to do the horses today and both of my 2 have one shoulder bigger than the other, the right. Now, obviously this is because of my shoulder/posture that I am sitting to one side so one shoulder is bigger.
Can someone please tell me how to sit straight and compensate for my weird back/shoulder? As I really feel I need to stop sitting to one side.
Thanks for any advice! Chocolate cake for getting through all this
