Hey

So my horse has out grown his saddle and i need to sell it but have no idea how to go about it, or how to buy a new one i know this is all very silly but i have had this one for like 4 years and i love it, sad i know :p

so what do i do and how much do i ask for it??? should i get some leaflets printed up?? is there a market for them at the moe???

It is worth looking at saddles on ebay to get an idea of ads, prices and how people advertise. Some saddlers will also sell for you and take a percentage of the money.I hope the sale goes well.
 
I would start with finding a good local fitter and get a price from them for you to part exchange the saddle - the easiest way. If you'd like to get a little more money there is ebay but also loads of forums and horsey ad sites, some are free, some are not - the forums all have slightly different readerships so it may depend on what sort of saddle. For instance Horsegossip is good for showing, especially natives, so good to sell a showing saddle.
