Question in the title really. My chap who is only 5 suffers with big filled legs when in at night. They are out from half six in the morning til six at night but still very puffy in the morning. They go down fairly quickly but he has to have equichaps as he gets mud fever and it is a real struggle to get them on in the morning. I was thinking of Equilibrium stable chaps, but any advice please.

They look quite good - especially at sale price!! Thank you

I use the aerborn ones they are thermatex material, my mare is 30yo tb and she has a heart murmur and very poor circulation and these are wonderful her legs dont fill at all. I have used the turn out chaps and found that they made her legs sweat, so i use 7 day mud away and her wraps when she comes in.
Hpe that helps

yep a vote for the thermatex ones with cordura outers, they support but dont compress the leg too much so safe to put on and safe to let someone who is covering for you put them on in your place as it were.

The only stables boots/wraps I found to work for a mare I had with mud fever and filling legs was the FAL Silver stable chaps. Can't recommend them highly enough; they are worth their weight in gold never mind silver!! They helped heal up the MF and stopped her legs filling.

Hi, I use the Thermatex Cordura wraps as well, they are quick and easy to put on and take off, have lasted me over 5 years with no wear or tear. My mare gets swollen legs overnight if I don't use these.

My loan mare's back legs used to fill if she was stood for any period of time. I now have her on Global Herbs lymph blend and its great. It took a month to see any difference but she now comes in at lunchtime when its cold and is in all day and night with no filling.

I would give it a go.
