Help with Xmas pony suprise

We have been loaning a pony since early this year. He's called Fluffy and is a gorgeously cheeky little Welsh pony. I have posted various times about our progress, under the title 'Fluffy update', if anyone wants to follow our journey.
It was always a long term loan with a view to buying if we were happy.
His owner has just contacted me and has very kindly gifted him to us as long as he has a home for life, which he will. I am over the moon! He was originally for sale for £800 which I was more than happy to pay as he really is a superstar! To know that his owners think that we are doing such a great job with him that they would be kind enough to gift him to us is amazing!!!

My question is this.....

My daughter is 4 and always knew that Fluffy wasn't ours and would possibly need to go back to his owners at some point. Now that we own him, I would like to do some sort of Christmas suprise for her, something along the lines of her being his new owner etc.
I thought about doing a little horsey hamper and make a certificate to go with it to announce that she is his special little girl forever.

I know she will be delighted,

Does anyone have any other suggestions or ideas to make it even more special?

What a lovely pressie. I was alot older when my husband did the same for me. My boy had a beautiful red ribbon and bow around his neck for when I arrived on yard. Maybe something similar. What a lucky girl. Merry Christmas. X
 
Havn't really got any suggestions but just the thought of your littles daughters face when she realises makes me feel so happy ❤️❤️

Me too! This is so sweet! And make sure you tell her its because she takes such good care of him, as I think it's the nicest thing that the owners are gifting him to you :)

I like the idea of a bow round the pony's neck, perhaps with a card attached that says he is hers. Or if you can't go up on Christmas day and you know the former owners well, could you even ask them to do a little video message to your daughter?
 
They are all great ideas. I think he bow round his neck is a good idea. He does tricks too so maybe if I practise hard enough with him I could get him to tap his hooves on the back door and deliver her certificate of ownership himself!

She is going to be so happy. We are also taking him hunting on new years day which she is super excited about as it's her first time!
