I'm relocating for work and need to move my horses from Windsor to somewhere near the M11 - the closer to London the better but anywhere are far north as Saffron Walden area would be OK.

I live in central London and work at Stansted airport.

I have two horses who need quite a bit of turnout, good hacking and just a nice yard. Not too fussed by fancy facilities, more interested in good care and turnout and full livery including at least three days exercise.

A bonus would be allowing well behaved dogs, but that's not essential.

At the moment I'm trogging around the M25 which is doable so I'm not in a massive hurry if anyone knows of opportunities that aren't immediately available.

I'm not posting under my normal username as the yard I'm at at the moment don't know that I am considering moving.

Anyone that has any recommendations please let me know. Does anyone know Quendon? Google isn't being very co-operative.

Thank you!

I don't know Quendon personally but I do know they've been saying 'under new ownership' for ages. It must not have had a good reputation before. It might be worth looking at the reputation of the new owners who ran a yard locally to there prior to moving to Quendon - I'm afraid I can't remember the name of it though!!

Have you looked around Felsted too - I think there are some good yards there - or at least there used to be in my pony club days, some kids from round there used to whop us and they were from livery yards.

Sorry, not much help.

I live 10 minutes from Stansted. I work at a nice small yard with all year turnout it is friendly but not flash. It has a space as I just bought my horse home!
Or Elite Equestrian in Felsted is good, smarter, lovely facilities.
I can pm you the numbers if you like?

Also have a drive around the Great Dunmow to Old Harlow area as there are a good few yards there and Gt Dunmow has or used to have good hacking areas
