ok so this week i have somone coming to look at my horse to ride 2 days a week, he is (if i say so myself) an amazing beutiful horse how do i know if the person is A a joy rider B someone looking for nice horses in order to steal them C genuine? she says she has been riding for 20 or so years but how do i know this is true? what precoautions can i take?

To be honest, I don't no if there is anything you can do anyone could come along & pretend to be someone they are not it's the risk we take. I think when you meet her you will have an idea, but if she is keen you could always ask for a refrence & have some sort of contract if your worried.
 
If you decide that she is the right person to share, then ask for proof of identity, eg. driving lcense, passport etc and at least one utility bill with the same address as on the ID proof. A contact phone number is also a good idea. If she arrives in a car, make a note of the reg number (just in case she is only coming to look at your security!) Hope all this is unnecessay and that all goes well
