for my new mare, as she will arrive on thursday and she can get gas colic from fresh grass! i have halfed feild to reduce the risk of her getting that! so would you say i should buy her that?! if so how much would i have to feed her?? she is 16.1 if that helps?! thankyou!

I would definatley put your mare on Fennel. I use it all the time on my Mini Tinkerbell who we nearly lost due to Gas colic. I get mine which is cheaper from here http://www.millbryhill.co.uk/equest...ments-783/global-fennel-supplements-34024.htm

Wouldn't it make more sense to set up a track around the ouside edge of the field to limit her grass intake but allow maximum movement and then feed hay???

thankyou jezabell shall i just feed her 2 of the scoops that you would find in supplement?! and to the above i would but feild is too large and not enough fencing as she can jump fencing lol!
