Hi everyone

Newbie here looking for some suggestions.

My friend recently agreed to lease grazing from the local council, lease was to be signed yesterday, notice given to current landlord, horses moving on Tuesday, turns up yesterday to sign lease only to be told that current tennant has decided to renew lease after all and nothing else suitable available.

We are now in the position of trying to find grazing between now and Tuesday as current landlord already has a new tennant lined up to move in.

We have been round most of the local farms this morning without any success, so hoping for more suggestions of where we can try.

Thanks in advance
Caroline

How frustrating, hope you manage to find something, pays to sign before you resign though. Ask current tenant if they could help you out whilst you look, seeing as they are involved with the dilemma you are in.

Has the new tenant for your friends field already signed? Can they stay where they are? It will put the other tenant in the position your friend is in, but if needs must.

But where they were hoping to go to couldnt they help with a piece fenced off while they look elsewhere, tues is just around the corner. No harm asking.
