Is it true? Our local tack shop says they can't get anymore in as there stopping manufacture. I've just starting using this fab bedding this year and will be gutted if I have to find something else!!!!

Yes, I was told that a few weeks ago, There are others who produce hemp/flax bedding though aren't there? I think Megazorb is hemp, not sure of any others

Doesn't really surprise me. They went bankrupt a few years ago as well. Can you get Aubiose? For the last month before my horse was PTS I used a chopped rape straw product as the only hemp supplier was in the next county and it wasn't worth going for a couple of bales, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by it. Not as absorbant etc as hemp, but pretty good and it made a nice bed.

Uh well thanks for confirming, I'll have a look at a few of your suggestions see how they compare. It's the first bedding I've found that's super absorbent and has very little dust. So here goes the search :s

I used hemcore a few years ago & really liked it. I was going to start using it again this year until I discovered a few places near me sell alternative hemp bedding that's just as good & a damm sight cheaper as well, happy days!

We use countrywide own brand purple bag. Such a shame yet another company is giving up. Utterly fed up of seeing companies hit the dirt! Wish everyone would help protect them. Seems they had lovely bedding from what you've said.

There is a new product on the market ... Hempbed with Eucalyptus oil ... it is already on sale at Flyte so Fancy. They use it for the chickens, but it's also great for horses.
