Another (probably silly) question from me I'm afraid!

Now Henry's feeling a bit better he's taken to daily 'mad half hour' sessions out in the paddock....thus resulting in him overreaching

Is he ok to be turned out in the overreach boots I bought him? They're soft neoprene ones, and don't seem to rub him...or would the rubber ones be better?

Or is this a bad idea?

Like I say, probably a silly/novicey question....but I've never had the problems that seem to arise with Hens before...and you don't know if you don't ask do you?

I'd rather ask a silly question than second guess and cause an avoidable accident/injury....

Yes, no problems - both my TBs are out in overreach boots all the times. They are rubber and don't seem to rub but just make sure they fit.

Thanks you lot....

applechaff-I'll try his 'nice' ones, if he wrecks them I'll either buy cheap ones or ebay bargains lol

At least it's a sign he's feeling better if he's pratting about!

I turn out in neoprene - horse is extremely playful, but they tend to last him about 3-4 months a pair. They are £12 a pair, as he wrecked the expensive woof ones in a week!
