Do I don’t I ?‍♀️
Id hoped a grackle might come up in the deal of the day but sadly not.
So if I buy a bridle and reins on the 20% off it’s like having the reins for free!
I’ve wanted one since getting my new horse a few months ago and ended up buying a cheaper (not cheap) bridle which I’ve just not been happy with.
Annoyingly I’ve left it a bit late to measure. He’s cob generally so am quite safe ordering cob? If they are weird sizing I could go out and measure I guess.
Also what head pieces do people have/prefer?
The 3D or Flexure?
Or I could behave and stick with the one I have......

I must admit I’ve been eyeing them up. I bought a pair of their bio-grip reins earlier this year and they’re lovely quality. I’ve got a decent Stubben bridle but it’s imo slightly too fine for my warm bloods head. But I’ve just spent a packet on some Bromonts so I can’t really justify it.

My daughter bought a grackle bridle from them for her ID, they where very helpful, she gave them his measurements and they advised the best size. Its the first off the peg bridle thats actually fitted him. Shes really pleased

Good to know! I would do that but the sale ends tonight so I left it too late!

I can’t help on the bridle size but you have made me look at these bridles.
I was considering making an appointment withhorse bit fit and buying a bit and bridle from them but these seem lovely too.
How do you choose which headpiece is best for your horse? All the varieties have similar descriptions.
It is a shame you didn’t realise about the Black Friday deal in time. Hope you can find what you need.

That's the fitting guide for HJ.

I've ordered a bridle in piece parts (posted a thread last night) but theres a 10wk wait for a couple of pieces.

I went for the 3D headpiece too, that's one of the parts with the long lead time

Thats what I’ve done! I was hesitating because the noseband I wanted didn’t come with the 3D head piece which I also like the look of.
It hadn’t really occurred to me to get it all separately. It did in fact work out a whole £3 cheaper ? win win.
Yes the wait is long! However it means I get more use out of the bridle I bought already and means by the time I get it I’ll have paid my credit card off ;)

Yes get one!

I got the 3D headpiece and really like it. It just sits really nicely. I'd definitely pay the extra for it again. I have a pic somewhere - I'll look!

I’ve got the cob cavesson with the curved browband & shaped headpiece. Am really pleased with it but I did need to buy a full size browband as bit snug. Is for my 14.1hh welsh pony so would say on small size 4B76B033-9A63-42B5-9F6E-8467A42AB131.jpeg
