But that notwithstanding, and despite the fact he is pulling a face (he wanted to sit right next to me) he rather likes his new coat:

But of course He may appear to be a mild-mannered spaniel, but really he is is Stinky Dog! His special powers include knocking people flat by farting and hitting male criminals in the nadgers with both paws and pinpoint accuracy

It is a bit long, but it fits really well across the chest and I think the extra bum coverage will be good for drying him off. It's not like he will be walking around in it
