...is doing really well!

Well, aside from his abscess....

He's slowly working his way through a small net of haylage overnight, and most of one during the day, which is a huge feat in itself!

He's gained 19 KG's in total, and the scurfiness of his coat's clearing up, as is his mud fever!

He was (until having his poor hoof poulticed) trotting and cantering about, full of the joys of spring, loving his daily walks and just generally chilling out.

He's a really happy boy in himself, and a real joy to be around. He loves human interaction and is even allowing strangers to stroke him!

A pretty pointless post, but every day I see a little bit of improvement, and I'm just walking on air and wanted to share

Glad to hear he is doing well. My TB was very poor when I got him, and he just wouldnt eat, even now 3 years on, he doesnt go a bundle on hay or haylage, it also took 4 coat changes to get rid of the remnants of rain scald and grease. So it sounds like you are doing fab.
