Henry's Anti-Snowball haircut + a question

Waddaya think?

His paws still got iced up underneath but generally the rest of him stayed pretty ice free! How do you keep their paws free? I tried lots of vaseline last year, but it didn't work

Kira (my old spangle) would hold her paws up to be defrosted but St Sweep doesn't seem to get them

I don't really know what to suggest except to keep the hair as short as poss so it doesn't collect the snow.

ps Is looking good for shooting/beating on Dec 11th - hope you are able to come. I will PM you my number

I have just trimmed the fur between his pads as short as I can, it is much easier when he is snoozing upside down on the sofa He was far too wiggly earlier, I would have chopped his leg off!

Not good for all dogs but ours we mix a bit of salt into the vaseline. Seems to work.

I get this problem with my Spangle... She also gets sores developing between the pads though poor girl

I might try and pick up some booties like you sometimes see in the agility ring....

I thought you were sending him to me? Where he wouldnt get iced up tootsies, as we dont have any snow!!!!
