I think the proper welsh word for microwave is microdon or something like that, but all my welsh family call it a popty ping though I have no idea where that came from! I think popty might mean oven or more specifically bread oven, or something like that.

What Seoirse said :) Microdon is the more formal version and popty ping the more colloquial one, it's also a lot more fun to say :)

The oven that pings... Colloquial so can be used to refer to any oven/cooker that makes a noise rather than a particular type... A friend of mine has many kitchen gadgets so it's normally accompanied by a wave in the general direction of the one she's talking about...:D

I've got a white tbx who's mother was a full tb and who's father was white - will that do? He might eat the flag too though and he will only stay white for about 2 milliseconds as he'll quickly crap on his tail with all the excitement and then swat it all over his back end.
