Herbal Anti-inflammatories?

Thank-you

Devils Claw. I looked into this for my boy who was diagnosed with arthritis in his hocks. Obviously bute is not a long term solution but my vet actually recommended it as an alternative for low level issues. He said that that was enough scientific evidence to show that it is an effective low level anti-inflammatory, he is from one of the big south west horspitals so I admit to being quite surprised and he did make a point of not being into 'alternative' treatment.

long term use of DC and other homeopathic anti inflammatories are more toxic to the system than bute or danellon but they have their place if running a horse under rules!

Devils claw is NOT a homeopathic remedy, it's a herbal remedy. Homeopathy has no side effects and is totally safe - certainly at potency levels available over the counter.
Devils claw is very effective and as Bluehorse says and often recommended by vets. Herbs can be extremely potent as well as standard drugs. Depending on what the condition is I would be very tempted to try magnets. They are brilliant for improving circulation and worked wonders on a Husky of mine that was very lame - vets were useless.

herbal or homeopathic they still load the liver and are more toxic than bute or danellon! talk to your vet! and it depends on what you are trying to treat?

I think you are getting confused.....homeopathic remedies do not even contain one molecule of the original compound, so how can they be toxic?

Apart from various herbal remedies for my neds I also have a strong belief in Reiki (find a reputable Master). Your a little to far away for mine but if you get in touch with her no doubt she can sort out something (she is good at distance healing and also does sanjeervenis). Website is - http://www.sandfordtherapies.co.uk/
(if I have broken any rules about posting websites then apologises - wont do it again if I am corrected)
