Herbie Is Looking For a New Home!!

Hi There,

The Herbie monster has had a good report from the vet and should be able to go to a new home from next weekend!! Now, I know a few people on here have expressed an interest in him, I dont know if they are serious or not but I thought I would post up incase anyone really does think they can give Herbs a wonderful home as it would be lovely for him to go to a nice horsey home and to someone who will give regular updates on him! :D

He's going to be registered and is microchipped and regularly wormed (not vaccinated because of all problems he's had of course) and will come with all the normal puppy pack, information, food and everything else. We would ask that whoever has him neutered him when he is old enough because he is strictly as a pet, not a breeding dog. We're not looking for anything for him other than a wonderful home where he will be spoilt rotten and loved whether he ends up looking like a normal dog or not!!

We're not advertising him as we want him to go by word of mouth really, rather than to someone who just sees "free dog" and nothing else. You guys all know he is a special case and we cant guarantee his face will ever look normal, but if it does he will be a stunning looking dog as he was before he got poorly!! He is a happy dog and has had thorough checking over from the vets the last few weeks of course and other than being a little smaller and physically weaker than you would expect at this age (due to the very aggressive infection and strong meds!!) he is a very normal pup and he isnt expected to have any long term issues related to the infection he had.

Anyway, if anyone genuinely thinks they can give the Herbivore a perfect home, or knows someone else who may be able to, please send me a PM :D

Unfortunately I'm not in the position to have another dog but he looks gorgeous and I'd scoop him up in a heartbeat! I hope you manage to find him a wonderful home :)

Me too, can't tell you how much I'd love to sweep the Herbster away with me but can't :( And have failed to persuade Mum as well:(:(

You will just have to make regular HHO updates a condition of his rehoming:D
 
I would absolutely love him but feel my two are enough and he needs a starring role lol.
Do hope someone on here can genuinely offer him a fantastic forever home (and keep his name). He has the happiest face I think i've ever seen :D
 
I will beg my OH when he gets in tonight :)

And also my brother whose **lots of nast names and swear words** ex-wife has taken his 2 labs when she left :mad:

I know he's your little survivor pup - and looking at him breaks my heart in two, he is adorable.

can you tell me what happened to herbie ?.
Lost my golden retreiver in may last year :(and cant bear to replace him but looking at Herbie suddenly feel the urge to have another.I wanted to rescue rather than have pup but kids insist on puppy might kill two birds with one stone !!
 
Oh I hope Kitsune or Cellie can have him, he so deserves a good home. Good luck, give him a cuddle from me and my 5 doggies!!!! I am keeping my fingers crossed.
 
Thanks spudlet .Poor little mite cant believe people can be so ignorant.We have litters on our yard and owner wont let anyone handle them until they have been vaccinated .They are gorgeous , border collies but we prefer retrievers and labs.:D I just miss doggie cuddles.:p
 
I have just caught up with your previous posts - poor chappy, what a state he was in!

He looks such a cute happy puppy! If i didn't have 5 other bitch's and one of those in pup i would have loved to have given him a home. I hope you find someone who will give hima very happy home!

Thank you very much for making me aware of the risks. My lab is in pup and i'm hoping that all her pups will be rehomed to friends, but there will be strict bio security for anyone coming to look!
 
If not for the 3000-mile distance, and the fact we live in an apartment, I'd take him in an instant. He looks so full of life and goofy, and I adore black Labs. As for unique looks, I think he'd fit in great with a one-eyed BT and a toothless pug.

Please let us know when he finds his forever home.
 
He is SOOOOOOO cute!! I'd have him in a second, but i'm at uni and rent so must sit on my hands!! *i must not take super cute Herb when i rent*
 
So pleased he has had the all clear from the vet. Fingers crossed he finds a home with a HHO (CC and I will forgive you, eventually, Kitty if you have him:p).
 
Ooh this is so exciting - Una you must stipulate that the lucky Herblet recipient has to post at least one update per week on here with pics and at least one video per month or we will duff them up! :D
 
I'm very excited at the prospect of this little chap getting an HHO home so we can continue to see his progress! He definately is part of the HHO doggy crew, would be a shame if he went somewhere else! :D
