Hi all been having a rough time with Horrid at the mo. Not got time to go into it all now but he's been very agressive and awful to ride. Almost back to how he was at the start :( But he does seem to be getting better again. He's had a bath, I've upped his rig calm and had afew stern words with him ;) and today I took him on a lovely hack, we were having so much fun I lost track of time and we were out for over 2 hours  :p :D :D Hopefuly we are now back on track. I remembered I took some videos of us jumping the other week (before he turned all nasty) So I've made this to cheer myself up and thought i'd share it with you.

Please excuse the crap riding. I've desided 70cm will be our limit for now as you can see on the vid I drop him 3 strides out, but bless him he jumps it anyway. I'm going to work on my confidance before we try any bigger (I think he could go alot higher  ) as I don't want to put him off jumping with my terrable riding or teach him to refuse or runout and I wouldn't blame him seeing as I drop him right before a big jump :o.
Anyway thanks for looking. Hope you liked the video. :)

Thanks guys. He does love his jumping. :D I just need to get abit braver :o

Dollysox he's had alot of upset lately. He's changed fields and now only goes out at night when the other horse comes in I don't think he likes the other horse being in the same field. He seems to be settling down again now so hopefuly it is just a minor blip. :)

you look like your both having fun in the video, and I love the soundtrack - sounds to be exactly perfect for you and the Horrid one :D

ahhhh fab!! he looks happy enough, only thing I would say is try to be a bit quieter with your hands and not lean so far back on him when you land after a jump but then im not sure if its just the video hun.

keep going and ignore his bad moments and remember theres been alot more good than bad the past few months with him :D

He looks fab- don't put yourself down! We all go through bad patches, think that's just horses..an emotional roller coaster!! Stick with it- sure he will be back to normal in no time! x :)

Thanks guys. :)

mil1212 I thought the same thing when I heard the song. It almost sounds like it was written for us. ;) :D

CalllyH thanks not just the vid thats my rubbish riding. :( My nerves take over when I jump and I forget how to ride  I hate watching me on the vids as I shout at myself like I do when i'm teaching. But you know what they say those that can do and those that can't teach ;) :p :D I just look at how much fun Herbs is having. :)

JenHunt he is such an honest little man isn't he. Atleast I know I can trust him to work it all out even though he never jumped before I got him. That seems to be helping my confidance alot :)

Fairy Dust, Normal    Normal for him is Horrid ;) :p :D No honestly he has been getting so much better lately and as CalllyH said more good than bad moments :) He's always gonna be a tricky pony but thats why I love him so much :D
