Well I've had lots of people asking for pics of the Horrid one so today I got my camera out and we went out hacking. :D:D

He was so amazing out riding today we passed more wild ponies and even a horse and rider going the otherway and he didn't nap once. :D:D:D

lol why did i think he was black!!!?

He looks soooo much like my little project pony - exactly the same colouring too. I like him he is a very pretty boy :) you are doing so well with him keep it up!!! :)

I couldn't see the pics cos I'm at work but I watched the videos - what a clever little man!! and he's so gorgeous, his colouring is just lovely :D
 
Thanks for the pics Laura - Herbie is a handsome lad. I also love the way the end sof the ears on his fly mask droop a little bit :) Which part of the Forest are you in (if you don't mind saying of course!)?

And the videos are great - your hard work with him has done wonders. Well done :)

Ommadawn I'm just outside Ringwood. Our hacking is great a good mix of woods, Tracks and open forest. The only annoying thing is the herd of ponies that moved in shortly after I moved in with the OH. Havn't seen ponies round here for a long time but now there always here and they seem to love Herbs and try to follow us out riding and always call to him. He's being such a good boy about it all though. He loves it here as much as I do. :D:D:D
 
Well done for making such great progress with him, he looks very happy. Says much about what a good teacher/leader you are for him :)
 
You have taken this pony so far away from the awful little brat he was that he's barely recognisable. Can you also give some of the peeps on here tips on how you manage to keep him so trim and slim? He's how a pony should look - and behave! I think he is helping you to smile again.

Thanks MochaDun he is such a happy little man now. He has a spark in his eye and nearly always has his ears pricked. :D

brighteyes thankyou. He is such a different pony. I'm so glad he is proving me right to have had such faith in him right from the very first moment i set eyes on him. :D

FleabittenT I am so very proud of him. He is lurning to trust again and is turning into a friendly pony who loves being around people. :D:D
 
Thankyou. I keep waiting for that 3 steps back after all the steps forwards he's made lately but he just keeps getting better and better. Hopefully it'll be onwards and upwards from now on. :D
