Catton Park - 31.5 dressage which I was happy with as it was our first test we had ever done in sitting trot and we don't do much practice of it!
12 faults SJ. I had changed his bit, it was awful, couldn't get him off his shoulders at all so not very happy but easily fixed.
Onto XC and i had decided not to push for time and we went round clear with 3.2 TF and were 13th. Really happy with how he went XC though Several abc combinations that were catching people out and he was great

Onto Salperton NRF where we had to Intermediate dressage and SJ and Novice XC. The SJ was huge and my section was full of pros.
Dressage went ok, we are trying to master the sitting trot during a test without going tense, but he kept a lid on things for 36.5 which wasn't great in the section but I was happy as I was so nervous so didn't help!
Onto SJ, it was huge and the course had caused lots of problems all day so after last week I wasn't very confident but we warmed up well and went in to just have 1 down, a vertical going up the hill where I thought we would struggle to make the distance but we didnt't and I should have taken a check. Really happy with him though and he felt soooo happy and confident!
XC was technical, big in places and people were having lots of runoutS and struggling to make the time. There was a brush corner which was narrow and a skinny double of rolltops early on so it really needed riding. He was amazing, I actually rode half decent and we flew home well inside the time and clear So we have 4/4 novice clears now!
We had just jumped the brush corner and he was amazing so I kicked on to the next and he flew, look at his happy face I love him
I LOVE him, he's the best. 1 more Novice at Cholmondeley Castle as we got balloted from ALW then an Intermediate.... Eeeeek!!
