Heres a task for all you poets out there!...

Never feed YEW
You must know what it will do
If you fall in a ditch,
You will never get rich,
There may be HEMLOCK, in there, so beware
DEADLY NIGHTSHADE?……..there’s a clue in the name
RAGWORT most often, may be given the blame, when a liver disorder means he can’t eat his dinner
BRACKEN on a moor?…….. look for a detour
Don.t feed a SPUD, it will give him bad blood
HERB PARIS in a pain in the arris!
In the garden there’s LUPIN, and RHODODENDRON………,
Both fine flowers……… look in the bad poison-section
COWBANE .. how vain, along with HENBANE,
LARKSPUR and LINSEED, LABURNUM AND LILY, will all kill your filly
MEADOW SAFFRON, and IRIS could even cause blindness
FOXGLOVE and HORSETAIL will both make you wail
BOX, PRIVET, and HEMLOCK WATER DROPWORT, make horses ill
MONKSHOOD, BLACK NIGHTSHADE, MEADOW SAFFRON, COWBANE ........you are asking for pain!
All copyright passed to Horse and Hound . some editing required!

Poisonous by nature
A sweet hello, a smile from a friend,
But we all know where it will end,
On fleating glance,
Leads to a missed chance,
As I wander around the room,
I take in everyones mounting gloom,
I can't make myself build sorrow,
Because I will be happy tomorrow,
But as my body begins to shake,
I realise I haven't been the snake,
So there will be another wake
