Excited!! Matt is coming out to measure my Cob Saturday!! Grown out of his Wintec saddle after only having it 5 months!!

Anyone else got these saddles, have googled and cant find anything negative :-)

I had a Heritage saddle, it was a really really nice saddle, i actually bought it from Ebay....stupidly i sold it, still kicking myself now!

I've got two of these dressage saddles for my TBs. I've got a Wilmslow and and a Cheshire. They're both lovely saddles, but I much prefer the Cheshire, which is actually cheaper!

I have the ying yang WH one for my mare, fits perfectly and is beautiful. It is made of lovely leather. I am very protective about mine!

Hate to go against the grain but I thought they were pretty poor quality.

My local saddler sells these new for £450 (£775 & £799 on heritage website!) and offered me a straight swap on my lightly used crosby.

I tried the monet close contact jumping which fitted my horse well and I liked that it was wool flocked but comparing it to my saddle the leather was poor (particularly the sweat flaps) the stitching on the my saddle was much finer and i didn't like the way the girth straps were sewn on.

The yin yang was slightly better quality but I only tried the monet (as it had moveable blocks) so didn't look at it as closely.

I'm considering getting a dressage saddle custom made as my mare is tricky to fit. I also have a high withered pony that needs a GP saddle - pony saddles seem to be made for round ponies not ones with withers !

I'd like to hear anyone elses experience with Heritage - good and bad.

Thanks !
