hi
so, looking for something on loan for initally 12 months as my horse recovers from injury, although i dont think he'll ever recover so maybe vith view to buy after a year or similar.
anyway, been looking at rehoming an ex racehorse and i'm within 40mins of HEROs so tried them first. their website said an £800 rehoming/loan fee but on the phone i was quoted £1500. Darley is unfortuately miles away from me but their fee is £100. Obviously i could pick one up from a trainer but was hoping if i went thru one of the rehoming places then it would already have had some downtime and a bit of reschooling or hacking out. why is their such a difference between the fees?? is this in relation to the amount of work they put in or the quality of the horses the rehome? am i right in thinking thru a charity they would more likely have had some basic reschooling/hacking???
