Hertfordshire Stables to Rent

Hi Everybody!

I am hoping that you can help, I am urgently looking for a new yard, small or big.

Ideally with a menage and one that allows dogs (on lead )

The only services I need are turnout - 7 days, muckout and catch in 5 days (catch in only during winter months when dark)-but if the service is not offered I am happy to pay someone else or hire someone in to do it

It needs to be as close to st albans as posisble as that is where I live and work

I would love a relaxed happy yard.

Please please please can people offer some advice, I have been around some yards - the more well known places but they are all full!

have you tried looking on hertfordshire horses and hertforshire horse riders? how many stables are you looking for?

I have tried with no luck unfortunately. I only need 1 stable for a gelding. obviously if it was a yard completely alone I would need 2 as I wouldn't want to keep my boy alone

sorry I hope you manage to find somewhere. My yard has spare stables at the moment but I am not quite sure what is happening with them, they may be going to people on a waiting list so I can't really say if they are empty for definite

Symondshyde farm have stables off Coopers green lane, I live next door and my friend does the livery there I can get you the number if you like.

Have you checked with Barley Mow stables, in Tyttenhanger, just on the Hatfield side of St Albans? Usually full as only a small yard and people tend to stay (i did for 8 years til moved to Scotland!)
