Well for you of you that have read my previous posts, the unwell horse has been delivered today.
He does have a bad back and pretty scarred up legs, but isn't looking quite as poor as i expected to be honest.
Anyhow, let him chill out in his lovely new stable for an hour, fussed and petted him and gave him a feed with bute in.
Then I popped him out in field with quiet companion and no dramatics at all, basically, quick sniff and head down lol.
Bearing in mind this horse has been passed from pillar to post and there was talk of him being PTS last week (by owner who couldn't afford vets fees), I think he is gonna be just fine.
Shoes were removed yesterday and feet trimmed back. He only arrived with one turnout rug so will have to sort spares, but i must admit i'm feeling pretty optimistic.
I would like to take some pics tommorrow and post them on here and maybe do so periodically for you to see his progress.
I will post something in lost/stolen horsesas well, as i would like to find out more about his history as it sounds somewhat chequered!
