He's here...... :) :) :) :)

Congratulations. He is a very handsome chap - you must be delighted. Hope you have lots of happy times together. Look forward to some more pics.

He looks lovely! Good luck keeping him white - mine is iron grey at the moment, but he won't be forever - soooo not looking forward to having a green and pink (from the clay soil) horse to have to clean! ;)

Thank you everyone for your kind words, I have some more pics that I took last night of him he's very gentle, still a little unsure but that's to be expected really it's all strange to him.

He has poo stains on him already I went and bought him shampoo today so if weather is nice tomorrow I may just give him a quick bath.
He has character already shining through which is lovely.

He needs his feet doing badly, he is minus a hind and his fronts are dreadful :( :(
That is being booked in this week.

He is just lovely :) :) So far so good anyway
I'll pop some more pics up in a bit... I won't get any ridden one's until his feet are sorted out.
(even though I have been advised not to ride for about 2-3weeks to let him settle and gain some weight) he lost a bit on his long journey but he looks loads better today coming in from field.

I am feeling a little deflated about it all though to which I will not say on here...lets just say it will not be staying like that.;)

Typical Irish shoeing that, we had some sent from Ireland a while back and there feet were awful and looked as if the shoes didn't even belong on the horse

This was him last night as I was just about to put him to bed....

I will get some more again soon, but he looks so much better for being out on grass although he was stood at gate waiting to come in I could hear him calling... bless him

Awww he looks a sweet heart, I love greys, can be a pain to keep clean but when they are, well they look stunning.

All the best with him, he looks happy in his new home.

Larab - I am getting on very well with him thank you he is hard work, I'm rusty too but I have had just about everything done to him in the 1st week bless him, had new shoes, teeth sorted and will be having back lady out on 2nd Sept just so I am not associated to pain too.

He is a pleasure to do though, just about anyone can handle him and ride him he's sooo laid back and relaxed has a calming nature too.

Very happy indeed with him, will be looking at taking him on my 1st hack tomorrow morning which I am little nervous about as hacking is a fear after my accident but sure he will look after me.

Ah, am pleased it is going well for you, he looks a lovely boy. Enjoy your hack :)

Get used to the buying shampoo and bathing him thing. It's either that or learn to have a more relaxed attitude to greys who like to customise their look!:D I went for the latter option otherwise mine'd be being scrubbed every 20 minutes!

On a serious note, as so many others have said, he looks very handsome and sounds so sweet and I hope you get to enjoy many years together having fun
