Got to pick Buddy up this afternoon from the horspital

He is on at least a months box rest.
I have to change his bandage every other day (it is a many leveled contraption!)
He has a five day course of penicillin that I have to inject in his bottom (he'll be my no.1 fan!)
Week 1 we have 3 x 5 min in hand walks
Week 2 3 x 10 min in hand walks
Week 3 up to 3 x 15 min in hand walks
with as much in hand grazing as I can find time to give him
He has an x ray at the end of this month then we go from there with penned turnout and ridden work, fingers crossed!!
Some pics of the main man;
He's lost quite abit of weight, tucked up a little...
I'm just so pleased he is home with a good prognosis, I came so close to loosing my entire life. I cannot thank the vets enough, they saved his life
