Id dont think he's ugly, what an odd thing to put in an advert!

He's a little bit like my bumber car (Thumper). Who god love him has a head the size of a bloomin bucket.

Me thinketh it is a marketing ploy. Fell sorry for the nag, go see it , buy it......

Looks alright to me....maybe a bit of a plain head and high set neck but i've seen worse! Tbh what would worry me about the name isn't that it might be thUGLY....more that the emphasis might have been THUGly!

He's not the best looking horse in the world, but I wouldn't call him ugly

He probably does have some issues & he's no oil painting but priced at £1500 there will be quite a few people that will go along to view & hopefully it'll find a new home. There will be plenty of people who want a horse & who don't have £4-£8k to spend......he may be ideal for someone.

On first impressions he looks enthusiastic and interested, which is more than can be said for some

If I was happy with his vetting I'd have him at that price.

I like him !

when i rang up about my new little pony they said over the phone that shes no oil painting, then when i went and saw her she said she was ugly and the kids would have nothing to do with her cause she was ugly as a foal and is ugly now:o i have a photo of her as a foal and she was a sweet foal and i always have people say to me that she is a pretty pony.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder

I don't think he is the best looking horse in the world but he is still a good looking horse!
Looks are not everything when will some people learn this!

Yes, believe it or not a lot of people use words like "ugly" in their adverts as a selling technique - the reader feels sorry for them so they get more interest. Surely you've seen it used before
