I went out to the pasture this morning and I noticed my horse was acting funny, first of all I was able to walk up and pet her without her walking away. Secondly she picked up her front foot and waved it in the air, she repeatedly did this switching front feet. She paused to look at me and curl up her upper lip, she started to walk in circles and then paused and started all over again. She did this for a while and then she walked in front of me layed down, stayed still for a few seconds and then got back up and started again. I don't think she was trying to get me to leave because she didn't seem to care when I pet her she would stand still for a few seconds and then start again. If anyone knows what is going on I would really appreciate it, thanks in advance!

Thanks so much, she is in the big pasture and so I haven't been able to watch her all day so I"m not sure about the manure. Is their anbything specific I should watch for?
Also she is turning 26, and we just had our first snow, don't know if that has anything to do with it, I'm pretty unexperinced as this is my first horse.

I went to check on her one last time before phoning the vet, she ate and drank while I was there, there was signs of poo but I'm not sure how old it was, she seemed normal and relaxed around me.
