I am looking at donig my HGV test and wondered if anyone can recomend anyone in north essex area. How much did it cost and how much was you medical and what did they ask?

Havnt done Hgv yet but did my LGV with ACE in matching green near harlow/stortford, if thats not too far away the were excellent and could'nt rate them more. I had to do a medical for LGV cant really remember what the asked just checked i could see and breath and move really lol good luck
 
I got my medial done at a doctors surgery in Aveley nr Lakeside and it was only about £30 - he literally asked if i was healthy - i said yes and that was that! Have u done the theory yet? If not i have the disc with all the qu's and answers and that really helped me when i went it they were the same qus.

The medical should be about £30-£70, There are a lot of really dodgy companies advertising via the web, basically they take £££'s off people and then don't deliver a very good service. Here's a link to a really good truckers forum, it has loads of advice for new starters and will give you names of reputable local companies (and spill the beans on the horrid ones!)
