Would anyone be interested in starting a sighthound/lurcher injury hotline?!
We all went for a walk yesterday and stopped at the park on the way for Emily to have a play. Lola thought it was terribly exciting and ran round and round and got herself into this little excited trance she gets into and kind of does a low level growly bark noise whilst running. Next thing I know she's running towards the fence, turned too late and went bang, straight into it! Cue the whimpering and running for cuddles
checked her over and she has a cut under her eye and scratches and scrapes all over her front legs... Duh! No swelling on her eye but think I might get it checked due to how close to her eye it is!
In the last few months in the same little excited trance we have had her running into a dry stone wall! So a big graze on her shoulder too!
She also like to chase her tail and one day bit it too hard so drew blood!
If she was a child I think I'd be getting investigated by now!!!
Anyone else have accident prone pooches?
