Bit of fun for a dreary Wednesday night....

Whilst out in the howling wind and gales tonight, I was thinking back on my glory days in the show ring...like an eminent breed specialist announcing my bitch was 'not show quality' over the PA system, and another top breeder from Scotland asking if my veteran girl was pregnant.
Oh, then there was the time I was bitten on the arse by a dog that went on to beat us, but I was to embarrassed to tell the judge, even though she would have disqualified him.

SOOOOOO I hereby announce the first ever Horse and Hound Online dog show. Any breed considered, Heinz 57s of course welcome, and everyone's a winner!

Here are the first round of results just in:

1st in the 'Open Hedgehog Stalking Class' was this handsome chap.

And this is the winner of Best Buffoon stakes (well, she will be when she comes out of the grass verge, where she likes to hide in order to avoid any sort of physical exercise)

This up-and-coming brother and sister combo had the judges in a pickle later in the competition, when they failed to come up with a definitive winner in the 'Backseat Driver' class.
