Hiya, in the spirit of (well, nicked off!) HovisandSid'sMum's 'Hovis' Friday Diary' in the NL and Puppy's 'Rocks and Sucks' in the SB, how about a weekly update from the HHO dogs every Friday?
Anyone can start, whoever comes first. I shall open the first thread up to the Boydog.

Hiya!
I didn't have a great start to the week. Big Mum chucked a bucket of water on me, rubbed some icky stuff on me and then ten minutes later, threw another bucket of water on me and took it all off! Make up your mind, woman. The only good bit was trying to escape her, good game!

Wee Sister loved it. I think she might not be a real GSD, she acts like one of those Pooh-Doll things.
Oh and by the way - I am so over trying to climb on top of her. I don't know what I was thinking, it happened last year, too. I mean, come on, she kinda looks like our real Mum. Yuck.
I still pin her down and bite her face when she gets cheeky, though.

Small Mum's pet came last weekend. I like to play a game with him, I give him 'The Look' when Small Mum isn't looking, and when he tells her and she looks round, I wag my tail at him. I think he must be related to an Irish Upsetter, because he has red fur.

The rest of the week was good fun. I mainly went for yomps with Small Mum, tried to catch the cats and continued in my quest to kill the horrible hairy thing that Small Mum keeps putting in my house. Duh, I have enough hair!

Small Mum was in a massive grump today. Maybe she feels bad for being so RUDE to me last night. All I did was shout at her to tell her there was a fox in the field next door at 3am. She came out of her kennel and said 'shutyerface' - well I never!
Then when the nasty fox came back at 6am, I shouted even louder. She came out of her kennel again and said 'Ithoughtitoldyoutoshutyerfugginface'. Hmph. At least Big Mum has some manners.

Two hours later she was still saying bad words, but we went for one of my favourite walks up the big hill with the water running down it, and I tried to catch it.
I am pretty much allowed to do my own thing on walks now because I come back when Small Mum shouts at me. She is a much nicer person to be around, since I discovered she keeps a jumbo frankfurter in her left coat pocket.

Wee Sister has to stay on her lead most days because of the game she plays, when Small Mum takes her lead off, she bombs off back home and hides in her kennel. Small Mum said it is because she is 'erotic'. I don't know what that means.

Anyways, I hope you all had a good week, I'm off to keep an eye on the bad cats and the nasty fox and to try and get the horrible hairy thing out of my house.

Our week was cool!! It's warmer now so we don't get cold tootsies when Mum drags us out to mess around with those 3 great big lumps with hard feet and even harder teeth if we don't get out of the way quick enough.
Have chased the rabbits all week but still haven't caught one yet. Don't think the 1 2 3 and CHAAARGE method is working too well.
Oh well back to napping on the sofas. Good job Mum and Dad were thoughtful enough to have 2 sofas and a chair so there is one for each of us!!

What a lovely idea.
This week has been good for me i'm a 6 month old Border Collie pup.Tuesdays we go to junior obedience classes i was very good. The only downfall is i am noise sensitive so we have to leave the class abit earlier than everyone else as they need to do their clicker training and it really upsets my ears.We are in week four of eight classes and have signed up to the Kennel Club bronze exam in four weeks time GULP.
We have been practising like crazy out on our walks the homework we get given everyweek.Stay to heal needs work but everything else i am trying trying like mad to be good and do as my mum says..
Mum has got me a Kong which i love and she stuffs it with all kinds of goodies but it dosent take me long to empty it out even when it's been frozen.
Tommorow i think a good long walk on the beach is needed to get those cobwebs blown away. All in all a nice week with good progress on my behalf.

I am having a very stressful week as my sworn enemy (the cat called Sooty) keeps letting his girlfriend round to share his dinner - I mean how outrageous is that to have 2 cats on top of the washing machine and as if that isn't bad enough the trollope girlfriend has started bringing round her kittens too! I mean has Sooty got no idea?! taking on a single mum and her hoodies....anyway I am now getting settled in for a nap on my sofa as I have spent most of today patrolling the garden on the look out for mittens after spending about 2 hours this morning watching mum have a 'lesson' on the big grey lump (tries to bite me when I stick my head round his stable door to check for carrots!) and Auntie M's (nice lady who shouts stuff at mum & the lumps) little dog called Jack came out to play. Was fun to start with and then he kept trying to hump me so I resorted to sitting down with a pained expression on my face - it seemed to work as he then went in the big cage with mum and auntie M and got chased by the grey lump! Hurray - maybe grey lump is my friend after all....I feel like the world is against me so need my sleep.

I am resting tonight as I have to get up at 5am tomorrow to go to a flyball tournament. The thing is, it's my housemate Jess, who is competing, not me! She is very good at this getting balls lark and she is quite fast, but as a Lab I prefer the slower things in life. I still have to go though as I certainly don't want to be left out.
I'll let you know another day how she gets on.

Seem to be in trouble a lot this week

Mum was playing some strange game in the flower bed at the weekend, moving some of the green stuff, so I am trying to help her by moving all the soil, but Ithink she wanted to do it herself cos she is gettting very cross with me. Met the smallest human I have ever seen at the weekend, she only came up to my shoulder, tried to give her a good wash but got told off for that too, and even Auntie Buffy gets grumpy when I try to pull her bed out from under her to play with it.

Got a new frisbee which was great fun to play with, though Mum took it off me when I tried to kill it, she is a real spoilsport at the moment.

My week has been very boring - it seems that Mum doesn't take us out shooting anymore - why?

So I have to resort to following the cat, I will not let her on any of the family's lap, nor upstairs, nor into the shed where I know she gets meaty food and I just get dry old biscuits

When I can manage it I just sit on her!

We have been down to the yard everyday and been riding three times this week - I love this, I get to run all over the moors and sniff out any remaining pheasants - yummy! But I have to keep one eye on Mum because I never know if she is going to change direction or suddenly charge off - I have to be in the front at all times, whatever the pace!

I am now curled up on the hearth, snoring!
