Hallo everyone, I hope you have had a good week.

I have had an awesome week. On Tuesday, my friend Tikka came to play.
I think she is a German Shepherd too, only smaller and multi-coloured. She is great fun, I flipped her right over, I was so happy to see her!
We went to the reservoir and the forest park and we chased each other round for about two hours and completely ignored the humans, we had an excellent time.

Her Mum is much nicer than Small Mum though, she is kind to me and doesn't shout so much. We may have to swap Mums

On Wednesday I got into loads of trouble because I MAY have ignored Small Mum when she was calling me to come back out of the trees after I found a lovely smelly trail to follow.
When I came back after about half an hour her face was leaking again. She called me all sorts of names and then when we got off the path and onto the road, Big Mum was waiting for us in the car and she was all red and cross.
Apparently it was her birthday and she and Small Mum were going out for a meal and me buggering off almost ruined it completely. Oopsies.....
smirk.gif

Big Mum says if I do it again, Farmer Rog will definitely shoot me in the bum. Small Mum says I am going back onto the long line until I get some manners back, bummer
mad.gif

Today was club day and it was fun. All the big important dogs were up from the deep south (that's where Small Mum said they were from, anyway) and they did loads of that runny-bitey-barky stuff. I will be able to do that one day. Honest
tongue.gif

Small Mum made me do loads of heelwork until I was bored stupid and then she went to a meeting until she was bored stupid (she is a Mess and Barketing officer or something
confused.gif
)

So now I am having a bit of a rest and Small Mum is inside, stuffing her face, as usual

Hope you all had a good week, tell us all about it!

Hello Bodo!

That flipping game sounds like lots of fun! I have an big friend called Digger and we have great fun wrestling, but he likes to put my entire head in his mouth, which isn't always as much fun for me!

Today I went for two really long walks, so I'm a wee bit tired (don't tell the tall one!!) she was doing lots of shouty stuff today and waving her arms around like a loony, although she seemed really pleased with me. I learnt a new whistle today, it means I have to stop and sit down, although sometimes it's more fun to ignore it!
grin.gif

I also interupted two strange tall ones playing in the woods today, I'm not sure what they were doing, but my Tall one laughed a LOT!

My other Grandparent's came to visit today, I like them lots because they let me be as naughty as I like AND they say how well behaved I am compared to their dog.

Oh, and this week I have been meeting some tiny dogs... well, I think they are dogs, they smell a bit doggy and sound a bit doggy, but they are soooo small! They seem to have something to do with my friend Dakota, she told me she would eat me up if I was rough with them!!

Hello everybody
smile.gif

I got into Big Trouble with my human on Thursday, there was a yummy steamy pile of house poop in a field so I just nipped under the fence for a little nibble (she barely feeds me you know, people are always commenting on how lean and fit I am - STARVED is more like it!). My human blew her silly whistle thing but it was so yummy I may possibly have carried on eating it... next thing you know the human had climbed over the fence and had come to get me, she was not pleased.... ooops...

Then today we went for a very long walk and I had loads of fun, I went back to the human every time and some other humans said I was very well behaved. Little do they know I am merely lulling them into a false sense of security
a010.gif

However one thing did happen that was not great - the human kicked some leaves into the air in the woods, and it was so fun that I jumped at them, but when I landed some fool had put a blimmin huge tree in the way of my head
mad.gif
Honestly, who put that there? My human thought this was very funny
mad.gif
mad.gif
She has a very poor sense of humour
mad.gif
Still, the tree was not damaged

Hi Guys

Bruce here - I want to get your ideas about a money making scheme I thought of this week - let me know what you think
laugh.gif

A bit of background first - I live with Mum and the minion. The minion is just about coming to understand where he stand in the pecking order ( Mum at the top , then me, then both the houses, then the cat, then minion). Anyway minion apparently makes loads of money playing 'The Bagpipes' - which seem to be a series of tube things shoved into Milly the cat that he then squeezes to make a very loud noise. This week I have started singing along to them when he practises - I think I am very good actually - in tune and everything and I have different accompaniments for different tunes. Today a really fussy lady came round to discuss her daughters weeding next year - I could tell the minion wasn't dead impressed with her cos she was a bit of a pain in the a**e
wink.gif
, but I though t I'd show off my skills when he started playing for her- I did a lovely rendition of 'Scotland the Brave', and was trying to impress with 'Highland Cathedral' when mum hurried me out into the garden - I did keep on singing outside - I must of been good cos mum was laughing so much she got hiccups!

Anyway - what do you reckon - Should I charge £50 per weeding? he does about 6 a month so that would be useful extra bone money and every weeding should have some Spangle joy spread through it!
smirk.gif
- also should I offer my services when he does a funeral? - Mum laughed, so maybe all the sad people at a funeral could do with a bit of 'Spangle Singing' to help them remember the good time?!

Bruce

Sounds good to me Bruce, my human says every weeding should have a dog, and that if she ever has a weeding of her own she wants me there, although she says that might be one of the reasons she doesn't think she'll ever get a weeding
grin.gif

Apparently one of her friends said that by the time my human has a weeding I might be very old and therefore well behaved anyway, my human was not impressed

Just a quick post from me, can any of you lot recommend a good place to hide from my human? I just heard the words 'Beastie' and 'bath' two words which should never be together!

Good evening everyone, Slip the collie here.

It would seem that getting me a kitten to look after has not been enough for Mum and now I have only a few days of relative peace before a cocker puppy comes to live with us as well.

Now its not that I dont understand Mum needing another spangle in the house, the one we had before was great, but why does she have to get a baby one? I have enough problems already with the ginger terrorist trying to pierce my earlobes on a daily basis dispite me gently lifting a lip and exposing my teeth at him....he just bites my lip then instead.

At least when the pup arrives we will be able to communicate....those cats are so rude and they will not herd no matter how hard I try - its very embarrassing for a collie to know such failure.

I shall mold the pup in my image.....two of us against the cats has got to be a good thing.

Hi all!

I went to my humans' wedding!! It was so much FUN (apart from the Church service which was BORING, but then again I'm not a particularly religious dog), I especially loved posing for the photographer. Everybody commented how beautiful I was. Much more beautiful than the bride, they said, though I don't know what a bride is as I'd never heard the term before and haven't heard it since!!! (something to do with bridles probably, but not sure
confused.gif
)

Do you mind if I post some pictures of the wedding below. I love watching them especially now that Mum is away again
crazy.gif
and I really miss her. She spoke on the phone to Florimell the other day but not me... Dad said there was no time for both of us and as Florimell had never spoken to her on the phone before, Dad asked her... isn't life terribly unfair??

Love,
Peanuts xxx

PS The third photo is my favourite -- that really shows who the real protagonist of the day was
tongue.gif
Wasn't I really pretty? And I was soo young and wrinkle-free...

Hi Beastie

I have always found that hiding behind the sofa is a good one - luckily humans don't have a good sense of small so they can't always sniff you out tht well - depends what you have been rolling in!

Bruce

Hi Peanuts

If only i had known - I would have done it for free!!! I love a good weeding - I have gatecrashed one before now and was the life and soul of the party - we could have had a great time!

Evening All!!

Well where do I start??
confused.gif
Its been a bit of a week for me!! I know I 'll list all the things that mum has got cross about
mad.gif
- in no particular order.....

chewing her best/favourite shoe
chasing the woolly hooligans (my friend Spot the sheepdog says the are called sheep?)
rolling in the stinkiest poo I could find and getting my lovely new collar crusty with it
chewing one of mums riding boots
me ignoring her when she calls me
Sweep and I barking at each other for nearly 20 minutes so she couldn't hear the TV
Me and my friends playing it when all the houses were running up and down their fields - apparently we might have got squished (not really we were miles behind!
blush.gif
)

Ummmmmmmmmm.....I think thats it - not bad for a week eh??

Come back everytime mum calls (she gives me biscuits so why not?

Walk to 'heal' on my lead through the woolly hooligans field
Gave her a big kiss this morning when it was daylight!! She said something like 'How lovely to see you so early you little treasure - I'm so happy at being woken up at 6 that I'll let you out in the garden...........' she does speak a funny language when she gets woken up.......
