Hi everyone, hope you all had a good week.

I am in a bit of a huff because while we got to go to the forest park all week and had an awesome time at the beach yesterday morning, Small Mum made me wear my jumper and I was seen by a labrador, a golden retriever and a jack russell and they all laughed their heads off at me.
Small Mum told me I looked cool. I don't think I can ever forgive her.

I managed to avoid the vet man this week but I still have to eat pink sweets that make me wee everywhere.

I was only allowed in the house once this week, Small Mum wodged a stupid red hat with a dangly thing on it on my head and took a picture of me, and Wee Sis had to wear a blue hat. Small Mum said it was made of pork pies, but I tried to eat it and she told an outright lie!!!
I hope she doesn't post the pics on the interweb, I think I have had enough humiliation for one week.

Then after the beach yesterday Big Mum and Small Mum abandoned us and went far, far away to a bleating to discuss the constipation, or constistupid or something.
They came back tonight and Small Mum says she says that when my back is better we are going to do an 'ACDC'.
She was a bit shifty but said it had something to do with a bicycle and 'twenty kay'.
I am now feeling quite nervous, but as long as it doesn't involve heelwork, it must be OK, right?????

Hope you all had a good week

Hi all!

Everything fine here in Italy. I have the most fantastic news: our mummy has been FREED!!!! She had been trapped inside the laptop for WEEKS. We were all so worried, well, us doggies were worried. Dad never seemed too worried. Anyway, she had been trapped in there by someone called 'Skype', or something like that. She could speak and she would talk to us from inside the laptop, but she couldn't get out!!!!!!! Imagine that!! Then, on Friday, Dad went away in the car, and he must have done something because when he came back, Mum was with him! We were all sooooo happy

I'm so glad we could beat that nasty Skype monster this time

Today we went for a lovely long walk in the woods, there is still so much snow and it's all frozen so it feels like ice-skating!

PS Sorry but Beezle is stressing the living daylights out of me, she keeps nudging me to type that (and I quote) "Bodo looks GORGEOUS in his sexy black vest and those stupid dogs were not laughing, they were going crazy with jealousy as they know they'll never be anywhere near him in terms of class, style and beauty".

Hi guys!

Well what a week I've had! The last few weeks we've been visiting this new house that I've not been a huge fan of, but tonight WE'RE IN IT!

I think mummy and daddy are making me stay here because my crate and all my toys are here...bit worried cos we've left Frankie and Dotty (the two masshooovise dogs that live in the field) at the old house! But they're staying with Grandma and Granddad.

Mum's been all soppy today because her grandma, my great-grandma, popped her clogs! So she keeps insisting on hugs and kisses and she's driving me mad with all the slobber!

Now I'm exhausted so I'm going for a kip on the sofa. Hope everyone has a good week!

P.S. what the hell have you lot been giving my mum for ideas? Why does she keep trying to put her wooly hat on my head?!

Hi Chloe

Sounds weird that you ahve been forced to stay in a different house - but I guess if your humans are there it *should* be OK.

As for your Mum needing hugs and slobbery kisses - I think you should take advantage and give her as many slobbery doggy kisses as possible! When I was just a really little pup my Mum's dad ( my grandad) went to heaven and I had to give her loads of spangle kisses - It was a great responsibility as I was only 11 weeks old, but it now means I can get away with (almost) murder sometimes - you could use it to your advantage in the future! My only regret is that I never met Grandad - he was in hospital from the time I came to live with Mum & minion but Mum tells me I was the first thing he asked about when he came out of a coma( whatever that is

) Anyway, if you give your mum lots of kisses she will feel much better - and you might get some benefits later too

!

Hope you settle into the strange house and that you Mum feels better soon

Hello everybody

I had a very odd day yesterday - I was on the trail of a rascally rabbit and I popped out from under a hedge and there were other dogs there, and they all jumped on me and barked and barked and barked
frown.gif
I was VERY scared, and they hurt me a bit too, so I screamed and screamed until the human came to rescue me. She was not very pleased because she hadn't known the other humans were there with their nasty dogs, but they had known we were there and they hadn't told her they had nasty dogs
frown.gif
Also the other humans had their nasty dogs on leads but they dropped them when the dogs started shouting
mad.gif

Then when she had made sure I still had all my parts attached, we went in the car for miles and miles to a strange house, and we went to a party! It was great, there was loads of food and loads of humans easily won over by spaniel eyes. Then we stayed overnight there because the humans had all been drinking that grapey stuff that makes them go all funny
grin.gif
This morning the humans made bacon sandwiches and gave me all the bread. Well, they turned their backs while the bread was on the table, which is the same thing, right?

Henry - that sounds most distressing for a fellow spangle to deal with

I hope your Mum put the horrible barking dogs and their humans in their places....some dogs have no manners - and some humans have no clue either
crazy.gif

Aren't *parties* the best ? Mum & minion have them sometimes and I am a great host - you must never let anyone feel left out - if in doubt cover them with spangle kisses! That 'poor starving dog' look gets most people anyway so you always end up with loads of treats. I also find the more grape juice - or even better barley juice, they have the better - I don't have to eat for days after a party - either they drop loads of stuff or they leave it on the dining table over night - fair game I think!!

Don't let the horrid barky, bad mannered dogs get you down!

Well I am bored, bored, bored! Earlier this week I hurt my leg running round, not sure what I did, sometimes I have to admit I run so fast I don't really look where I am going and mum says she thinks I've pulled something. She normally tells me off for pulling on the lead but think this is a different sort of pull. Anyway, I was managing okay, could still keep galloping just put a little hop in to keep my poorly leg out of the way, but oh no, worry pants has stopped me running around and I am not allowed off the lead
shocked.gif
Apart from being so frustrating it is also embarrassing, I like to go into a corner to do "you know what", but she is always there with me.
I am getting my revenge in the evening, I spend all night finding all my toys and bringing them to her and asking her to play, she gets quite crabby with me, not sure why
frown.gif

Today when we were on our horribly short walk round the field we saw a fox, and I couldn't chase it aargh. I was so excited I jumped up and down on the spot and screamed my head off, but she still wouldn't let me go, what a spoilsport.
I keep telling her my leg is okay, though if I am honest it does still hurt a little but hopefully I will soon be able to run again.

Hi everyone
Well, Mum and dad got their own back on me on Saturday. I've been waking them up about 5 o'clock to go for a tiddle but on Saturday they woke ME up at 04.30!
shocked.gif

I, and Jess and Beau, were put in our cage things in the van and wen for ages. When we were allowed out I was somewhere completely different to home!
confused.gif

I did wonder what was going on but then I heard dogs barking. We were all taken for a tiddle then the other 2 were put back in their cages and I was taken inside this huge building. Now that was when I realised this was going to be fun. I could see jumps and ballies so I knew it was FLYBALL. YEAHHHH. :

My team ran first and I have to say that I was absolutely brilliant.

And guess what?
My Team came 3rd. I got a rosie.
smile.gif

Jess was in a different team and she was brilliant to but she only came 4th and no rosie. She was a bit sad
frown.gif
'cos she was in Division 1 with the really clever dogs and they were seeded 6th, so to come 4th was brilliant. Usually they give to 4th place but never mind, though she did feel cheated a bit.

Beau just enjoyed getting lots of fuss 'cos now she is 11 she doesn't race any more but is always with us so she doesn't feel left out.
Had a great day.
Yesterday we had a quiet day with just a gentle walk as everyone was a bit tired.

ETS whoops sorry forgot to sign my name. It's Skye here.
