Just wondering

Who owns the oldest horse on HHO?

There have been a few posts in PH of some amazing looking oldies....

Also, who is the oldest member (No, I dont expect to get an answer to that question!)

Hes not old compaired toa lot of ponies. But for an ex racer, my Bertie is 26 now and still going strong

My old mare Jenny, by the Schockehmohler's (sp??? but you know who I mean!) stallion Shelley's Boy, is 34. This is genuine as my grandad bought her from the farm next door to his in 1976 for £200!! She is 2 years younger than I am.

She's had Cushings for ages but still hacks out - in a Pelham as she's a jolly hard puller - and she ran off with one of her sharers over xmas!! Also still jumps logs out hacking & won 3 sj comps at the age of 29. I still have to chase her round the field to catch her.

i own 4 veteran, thier ages are 16, 17, 24 and 25 and they are all going strong!

however im far to young to be a contender for the oldest member

Not mine but my best mates: 32 year old Arab. Still acts like a complete mad thing out on a hack bless him.
